This Snickers Popcorn is so easy to make and full of sweet and salty flavor. It comes together in minutes and only requires a few simple ingredients.
Looking for the perfect movie night snack? This sweet and salty Snickers Popcorn is a crowd favorite. It comes together in minutes and only requires a few simple ingredients.
Our family loves gooey treats and this Snickers popcorn didn’t disappoint. This would be the perfect snack to munch on while watching a movie or the Super Bowl.
It makes enough to feed a big crowd and it easily doubles to make even more.
It is the perfect sweet and salty combination that we all know and love. It’s so yummy and easy to make, and I can promise you, this will quickly become a crowd favorite.
It is the perfect sweet and salty combination that we all know and love. It’s so yummy and easy to make, and I can promise you, this will quickly become a crowd favorite.
How to make Snickers Popcorn:
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Pop your popcorn and put popcorn and peanuts in a very large bowl (or a big brown paper grocery bag). This is my girls’ favorite part to “help” with.
- Over medium heat, boil butter, brown sugar, salt and corn syrup for 5 minutes (stirring constantly). Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Pour over popcorn in the bowl (If you’re using the brown paper bag, roll closed and shake well).
- After the popcorn is coated well, spread onto a cookie sheet. Spread chopped Snickers over top of popcorn and put in oven for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle melted chocolate over top of popcorn. We poured the chocolate into a small plastic bag and snipped off the corner to make it easier to drizzle over the top.
How to store Snickers Popcorn
This popcorn is gooey and chocolaty, and we recommend making and serving this the same day you prepare it.
However, it will keep in an airtight container for up to 5 to 7 days.
Homemade vs Microwave Popcorn
We think this recipe tastes best with freshly popped popcorn. Our favorite is just the original Orville Redenbacher’s – we always keep it on hand (pictured below).
We use this air popperand this large bowl for making popcorn.
You can definitely use microwave popcorn for this recipe if you don’t have an air popper. We would recommend using a lightly salted popcorn, and you’ll need about 2 1/2 – 3 bags for this recipe.

Just made this today for my hubby for Father's Day.. It is AMAZING and it was EASY! I have tried other caramel type popcorn recipes and they have all flopped because the caramel (usually with some sort of cream) either burns or doesn't set! This is basically fool-proof, which I need! Very beautiful presentation and delicious! I will use this recipe for any carmel corn I make in the future, snickers or not! :-) Thanks so much`
