We have a manufacturing company which uses Quickbooks Premier Plus Manufacturing and Wholesale 2023 in our office. We want to be able to take more time away from the company and need to use the Quickbooks remotely from where ever we are at. We need to go multiuser with the host being the traveling laptop. What ever we are doing in the host must be able to transfer to the office computer and vice versa. How can I accomplish this. Would I have to get a multi user license? If so who do I contact?

Do you need to purchase an additional seat for your license? You have to call Sales support to do so. If they refused to hep, you can contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA as another option.

Using quickbooks premier plus manufacturing and wholesale 2023 on 2 computers
Welcome to the Community, joe2017.
You can share QuickBooks data with multiple users by setting up a multi-user network to access your company files from other computers. This setup will require you to adjust settings in QuickBooks, Windows, and the server you're using.
Here's how to begin setting everything up:
- If you haven't already, download and install QuickBooks on your server computer.
- Use Custom and Network install for the install type.
- Choose I'll be using QuickBooks Desktop on this computer, AND I'll be storing... if you want your full version of QuickBooks on the server. In the event you want your server to host the files, select I will NOT be using QuickBooks Desktop on this computer....
- Follow your on-screen instructions to finish the install.
- If you want to keep your files on a network drive, follow the steps to map your drive.
- Set up folder permissions on the server computer. Be sure your folder with the company files has permission to be on your network.
- Confirm QuickBooks Database Service Manager is installed on the server.
Configure your Firewall and Internet security settings so QuickBooks and Database Server Manager can run on the network. - Make sure your user account you use to sign in to the server computer has Windows admin rights. Also verify your Windows user account for QuickBooks Database Service Manager has admin rights.
- Use the Database Service Manager to scan your folder holding the company files.
Next, you can turn on hosting and install QuickBooks on a workstation. When you want to access your multi-user network, make sure to sign in as a user with admin rights on the server computer and workstations.
If there's any additional questions, I'm just a post away. Have a great Monday!
