I dropped off my car and then was picked up while my car was diagnosed with a rattling noise whenever driving over bumps. Thats when I received a quote over the phone saying that my coil springs were broken and itd cost approximately $45 to fix, which were completely broken according to the person I had spoken to. I had the phone on speak so the person I was with also heard the same amount, which was about $45. So when I turned down the other recommended services (tires and control arms), I said to go ahead with fixing my coil springs. Then when I came to pick up my car and then pay, Jim Wagner (the manager) told me the same amount in person (~$45). So as I was driving home, I noticed the bill stated that I paid nearly $500! Had I known it wouldve costed that much, I never wouldve gone through with the service. I called Jim later that week to let him know what had happened, and he rudely laughed at me and repeated several times that $45 was the cost of lunch and theres no way anyone told me that repairing coil springs costed ~$45. I asked him if there was anything that could be done, and he continued with being rude and repeating himself. Would not recommend this place to anyone, and if you do end up going here, be sure to get a written quote and make sure youre aware of how much youre paying!

Did not honor quoted prices and added hidden charges after the fact. Clerk was rude and smug kept getting in my face, refusing to listen and shouting me down trying to intimidate me. I paid and left before I acted on my urge to punch the a$$hole in the face. I will never return and will let everyone I know not to go there.

Scheduled an appointment and when I got there, the person told me that they are too busy and Ill have to wait at least for an hour and half and still may not get the car checked today!!!Wasted my time time, I left work to make it on time and they couldnt even call me and request rescheduling! So i was wondering why i kept losing oil when i had a oil change on 12-23-17 at this store. Then when i pulled up in my dads drive way my dad noticed it my oil pan plug fell out and i lost 2 1/2 qrtz of oil. Talked to the manager he said we will not fix it hung up on me twice when i tried to explain to him they were the last people who touched my car. Unprofessional and rude. Your the reason why i lost oil and you wont tighten my plug or put oil back in my car.

The one guy sean there is super welcoming and very into and knowledgeable about things that i need to have done on any of my vehicles! Thank you to Jim (I believe) for taking care of my wife and I, unexpectedly, on a Sunday afternoon while passing through. We picked up a large screw and putting on the donut wasnt an option because of the highway speeds. Monro was one of the only places open on a Sunday. Not only were they open, they got us right in, and were very helpful. Yes they ended up talking us into 2 new tires and not patching the damaged tire, but I trusted them and agreed that we are better safe than sorry. Prices were fair, especially in an emergency situation and on a Sunday. Thanks again Monro Auto, keep up the good work and great service!

I always come here for my oil changes because they are so close to my house but EVERY TIME I go in there there is a new manager or new faces ive never seen. Today it took almost 2 hrs for an oil change...employee was nice bit it shouldve never taken this long. Had I known I wouldve gone elsewhere. Never got a story for your wait or was even told that they were running behind. Just very disappointed today

On Sunday afternoon my son and his friend were trying to drive back to college in Columbus but their car was overheating. They were so thankful to even find a shop open on Sunday! These guys quickly got their car on a lift, diagnosed a minor problem, gave them a short term solution to get them back to school, and didn’t charge them. Outstanding customer service and integrity. Used to be a very good shop I could trust. However this past time I went in I definitely feel like I got ripped off. The shop advertised a Synthetic Oil Change as $50. When I go to pick it up the price was $70 for extra oil. I have a small Mazda 3 so Im just wondering who in the heck could qualify for the $50 price. When I talked to who I think was the manager about this he argued that every shop does this. Ive however never went to a shop that didnt first notify me about a cost increase before executing on it. In addition I asked for a mileage sticker which is there but barely readable. I had to get pricing on a tire and it was about $20 more expensive than just going to Discount Tire.I dont leave reviews much especially negative ones. But it is just such a shame such a good shop has gone so downhill. Old managers would have let a customer know about nearly a 50% increase in costs for an oil change.Yall have lost a customer.

My car recently overheated right by the Monro on Byrne and I quickly turned into the parking lot. I was greeted by Chase who was very professional. I however was a bit frantic because I had to pick up my son by 3:00pm and I knew if I wasnt there on time my son would have a meltdown. My son is 14 and is non verbal severely Autistic and has violent meltdowns. Chase ran and got his personal vehicle and said lets go I was floored at his kindness and compassion. On the way to pick up my son I mentioned that he is very sensitive to certain noises and Chase immediately turned off his cell phone and his radio. We made it on time and Chase dropped us off at home and promised me he would have my car done by the time they closed...and he delivered on that promise. This act of kindness goes way beyond fixing my car for me and I would like to commend Chase for his thoughtfulness and caring. Chase saved the day for me more than he knows.

The quality of service here is outstanding. The price of services are reasonable and theyre very knowledgeable. Whenever Ive needed something like regular maintenance or even more major issues with my car, theyve always easily gotten me in to their schedule. Great staff!

I went here to get a new muffler put on my truck and the crew was fast and thorough . The manager Tyson and tech i believe his name was Jon did a wonderful job making sure my needs and even wants were taken care of... from the sound i was looking for to the position of the tips coming out of the back of my truck! i am beyond happy with the work this shop provided me with! i highly recommend this shop for any needs you may have with your car.

I just want to say that this is hands down the best place to take your car. My car was making a bad grinding noise and the manager Tyson got it taken care of for me quickly and at a very good price. Had another Emergency with a major oil leak this last weekend. Jim the Manager took the van in, accessed the issue, ordered the parts. (hard to get parts). The van was back up and running a day later with no leak. Thought I was treated with professionalism as Jims communication was great. He called when he said he would and the van was ready when he said it would be. Thats all I can ask. My only regret is that the day after the repair I received coupons in the mail for $100 off a $500 over repair .... missed it by that much. Not their fault .....Ill blame the mail man. LOL. Great service !New management really makes a difference ... happy to see the reviews are going up ... and they should. I had an emergency on a Saturday and took my car there not expecting them to get to even look at it. Chase took some extra time (after their closing time) to diagnose my grinding breaks. Needed pads and rotors. Thinking Id have to wait til mid week I find out they are open on Sundays. Chase had the car fixed and repaired by the next afternoon. He called me a few times updating me on the progress. Very happy with my first experience here. I would and will go back.

Breaks went out on a Saturday during a snow storm and this was the only place I could find still open. Open on Sunday too! Staff stayed over an hour after they closed to finish the job and get me on my way. Excellent service with respectable pricing! Definitely my first place to call next time I need work on my vehicles.

I brought my car in because it was over heating and I was going out of town and wanted to make sure it was going to make the 3 hour drive I was planning to take with my children. He called me later in the day and told me he recommended that I not take it the way it is was because it wasnt safe. I really appreciate the honesty. This location saved our car and our sanity all on a Sunday morning! We were driving back from New York to Wisconsin with a brand new puppy when our Jeep started shaking and making a terrible noise. Monro was one of the very few auto shops open on a Sunday morning and even though they said they were busy, theyd take us as soon as possible. They allowed us to bring our 10 week old puppy into the waiting area with us and looked at our car asap. Ultimately there ended up being a massive piece of ice stuck in one of our tires and frozen on the axle and it just needed a warm place to melt off, which it did in their garage. The employees werent even going to charge us since all they did was look at the car and not technically fix anything. We told them absolutely not and they let us pay them for half an hours worth of labor. The employees that day were an absolute godsend and I highly recommend them!

Went there to get an oil change and they checked my breaks and said they were bad when they still had life left then proceeded to tell me it was going to be well over 700 hundred dollars and then when i said ill pass they took a impact wrench and went to town on my lug nuts and getting tires done later that day and broke a stud because Monro did it wrong. Will be the last time i ever go there and if you dont want to get treated poorly and the main person there was so rude never again.

(Review with update)This is a very trustworthy place with an awesome staff and good prices. I dont go anywhere else and would recommend it to anyone who is having car trouble. Since leaving this first review management changed. Also, my husband and I have had breaks done here and both cars in the last 6 months and new breaks squeak when we push on them, it happens often. Never had that problem before when we had our breaks done here. Not a deal breaker but I have NEVER had my breaks do that when I have replaced them in the past at this location. I did speak to someone at the time of break replace and was told its normal and would go away but it has not.

Definitely would recommend them. I love coming here because they only fix what you need repaired and dont try to upsell or overcharge you for extra services you dont really need. I went in with a loud noise. My mechanic had already told me what it was but he advised me to take it into a real shop. The only complaint I had was they had me make an appointment but still didnt get to my car until over 30 mins later. The time estimate they gave me was off a little bit as well because they had to get my part delivered. But overall, I was pleased.

I’m not satisfied at all with the service I’ve received here. The first time I brought my car in was to get my brake pads and rotors fixed. They replaced them and I proceeded to drive away and my car started to make a strange noise. They assured me it was just because the brakes were new so I drove the car to visit family 1 hr and 20 mins away. Convinced something was wrong I took it to another auto shop and they found that they hadn’t put my caliper on all of the way. Luckily the auto shop didn’t charge me and just fixed the problem. This was back in November of 2017. I thought this was an honest mistake and gave them another try. Since then I’ve been coming for oil changes and my car requires fully synthetic oil so they aren’t cheep. The other day I brought my car in for said oil change and they told me they could get it in in 15-20 minutes I said that was fine and left to run some errands. I come back AN HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES LATER and they informed me that a customer who just “spent a lot of money” on tires yesterday needed her car looked at and they HAD to take her before me. My car would take ANOTHER 20 mins. Annoyed I said okay and went to run a few more errrands and came back 30 mins later and they were just then pulling my car back for an oil change, that once they got it back took 10 mins. So, I had to wait 2 hours for an oil change that would have taken 10 minutes because someone else couldn’t wait and she spent more money yesterday so she was priority. For my troubles they took $10 off my $60 oil change ... I will never take my car here again. This is not how you prioritize work or have good customer service and I will not recommend this auto shop to anyone. Good job losing more money mover a stupid 10 minute oil change.

Stay Away! I took my wifes van in for their free flat tire repair. She was told the issue was on the side of the tire so they couldnt replace it. I understand that. No problem. Took it back to where I purchased the tire. They took a look at it and said they couldnt get the tire off because of the 5 wheel studs, 3 were cross threaded, one nearly cross threaded and the other was fine. Took it back to Monro and they said they would fix it but I had to leave the van overnight. I agreed. My wife picked it up and when she was pulling into the driveway, I heard a rubbing sound. I decided at that point to take it to my personal mechanic. After paying him $124.62 for fixing what Monro screwed up, I was furious. Issues he found: Had a hard time removing the rear rotor because the parking brake shoes were loose inside the rotor. He installed two new rear wheel bearing bolts and washers because they were never put back in. Also installed a new wheel stud and nut because it was nearly cross threaded. Removed rear parking brake shoes because they were pulled out of the backing plate. After finding this out, I files claim with Monro HQ. After telling me someone would call me within 48 hours (I knew that wasnt going to happen) I called them back. Ready for their answer? Quote: We are not going to reimburse you or fix anything further because we have already given you enough free stuff. Yes, you are reading that correctly. I said because they screwed something up and had to give me a free rotor that I didnt as for, why is that being held against me? Because they cross threaded 4 bots, whey is that being held against me? They stood firm. I then escalated it and after being told again by a lady named Kim ( I was told she was the Presidents personal secretary) that someone would call me back, they never did. I spoke to Customer Service and the lady got in touch with the District Manager, John, and he told me they werent going to do anything further but if I wanted one of HIS mechanics to look at it, that I could take it to one of two shops. I then asked my mechanic to call John to discuss. John basically told him that the person who initially screwed up the first time fixed it perfectly and the van was running fine when it left the shop. Oh, did I also mention that the 4 wheel bolts that were replaced perfectly were not pounded in all the way thus causing something to stick out and thus making the rubbing noise I heard? If John thinks that the van was fixed perfectly, then maybe John needs to go back to automotive training himself. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MONRO! Your vehicle may come out worse than it was when it went in. They next step is to talk to an attorney because, at minimum, they owe me the $124.62 I had to pay my mechanic. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!1/30/17: Typed a letter to their Corporate Office and never got a response. I would NEVER recommend this place. Nobodys perfect but when you mess up, you should fix it. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

We already had a previous issue with being overcharged for an Oil change. Upper management was kind enough to provide a refund. However, my fiance took his vehicle in yesterday to get inspected. We suspected it was maybe the brakes. Wasnt sure because the brake light on dashboard didnt light up. Dropped it off. Vehicle was ready an hour or 2 later. We paid $497 for back brakes( along with one new caliper) because thats what they claim the noise was coming from. Which, they did need to be done anyway. So, my fiance was ready to pull out of parking lot and I was right behind him in my vehicle and as he pulled off a caliper falls off his truck. I wasnt able to maneuver around it so I ran it over. We turned back around and brought the vehicle back. They looked at his vehicle, again and said the noise was from something else thats not replaceable and said the caliper was the old one. Im glad it was just the old caliper but pretty careless to leave it on. Now I am worried about my tires having a slow leak in them. We invested way too much money onto this place. Time to start searching for a more reliable place.Posted on Yelp too.

The guy wad rude and told me my appointment just guarantees me a spot, not the time. My friend who is a certified mechanic gave me a wheel bearing that he checked himself that was working I got it replaced at this shop PAID 400 DOLLARS for my car to squeal later that SAME DAY and had to have my car towed for them to tell me it was broken when it was replaced (which it wasnt and they could have checked themselves before install) and that I would need to pay an additional $400 for the next installation now I am currently taking them to small claims court do not go here they are trying to cheat you out of your money (the next shop I called is charging less than 300)
