This Monro location located on West Main Street in Waterbury, Ct is the best! Anytime I walk into this location with an issue with my car they always Assist me on the spot! Most locations will tell you because you didn’t have an appointment they’re unable to help you But not this Location. If I could give a zero I would I stopped in on Sunday with my tire almost flat with nail in it . Two people were there one working on a car the other I talked to said no can’t help me only has one working working on a car no other cars there wouldn’t even offer air in my tires so I can try to find another place his aditude was rude and loud as If it was a problem with me asking if he can fix my tire never again and I would not recommend this place to anyone ever

Carlos is the man! every time i go in there he helps me out. i’ve been there with three different cars in the last 6 months and everytime he has been nothing but nice and knowledgeable. the last time i went it he put my car up on the lift and gave me free advice as to what i should do. a lot of places won’t do this now a days. keep it up man it’ll come back to you!

I had persisting problems with my car and went to 3 different mechanics and no one could figure out what was wrong with my car. I went to Joe at Monro who was recommended to me from a friend, and he took the time out his day to check my car to find the issue, and found the problem in under 20 minutes. He fixed the problem for a reasonable price. He’s very knowledgeable and knows what he’s doing! My car is running better than ever and I will be coming back here anytime my car has an issue!

Monro Auto Service is amazing for their wonderful customer service they provided me with today... Sunday February 17... Open 7 days a week saved me today... My car had a donut on the front tire and then today I ended up with the other front tire leaking...I was across the street from the shop at the shell gas station...a worker helped me put air in and drive the car over here to get the new tires put on my rims...they helped me right away and were so kind and understanding to me... The service itself was fine but when I picked up my car there were greasy foot prints on my my door sill, floor mats, and a greasy handprint on the top of my interior door panel. I was able to clean it all off with disinfectant wipes but a little bit more care would have been preferable.Update 9/8/19: I have been noticing oil spots wherever I parked. I finally jacked up the car today and found the oil pan and area behind it covered in oil. I figured I try tightening the oil plug first and found that it was loose. I’ve never had one come loose on it’s own before so I can only assume it was never properly tightened. That would have been a bad situation if it came out while I was driving.

I brought my car to Monro for an oil change and new wiper blades. I was having a pretty rough day, but the staff at Monro was so friendly and really cheered me up! They were having difficulty finding wiper blades that fit my car, and I appreciate them taking the time to make sure that I was getting the best product. They recommended future services, but it was genuine and not pushy or sales-y.

I was out of town when my car caught a flat . Thank god for relatives near by I had to get my car towed & stay the night nearby. In the morning I found it Very difficult to find a auto shop open on a Sunday, but guess what monro muffler were Open on Sundays. The employees and the boss bob was absolutely amazing with the service they provided . The work was done in a great time frame & my tires are all brand new With warranty !!! I highly recommend everyone to come here !

I was there at 7:30 am this morning and found the service outstanding. I was warmly greeted by the assistant manager, Michael La Chance who looked over my muffler problem and explained everything to me. It was a difficult issue to fix which necessitated him calling around to find the part needed to finish the job. It took quite a while to fix, but Mike kept me constantly updated on everything. It was easy to see that the staff really care about the customer on a personal level. I shall definitely be back for any servicing my vehicle requires!

Honestly I dont even know why I come here anymore. I made my appointment online, received a confirmation and when I go in 4 hours later for my oil change, the manager claims it never went through his end of the system. How would I get a confirmation if it never went through? On top of that, he takes other people who have no appointments first. Why? Makes no sense.If I could give no stars that would not suffice as to the level of lack of service. The manager is always clueless and is never ever helpful. Its a huge inconvenience for me; theres a reason I set an appointment. This isnt the first time its happened either so shame on me for thinking it wouldnt happen again. This shop is a joke, they need a new manager and employees.

I recommend this shop to anyone who wants to work with someone they can trust. Ive never had a bad experience at a Monro Muffler but this place is special. Bob is kind and honest. He told me what was wrong with my car and then showed me the proof of the issue (I didnt even ask for proof). This transparency is important for me as i dont know much about cars. One of the problems was expensive and I couldnt afford to deal with it right then. He told me Hed try to find the part cheaper and let me know if he did. In the meantime I price checked the issue and found his price average. I was bummed. I dont have the cash. Then, like a miracle, he called and said hed found it cheaper. He is a good man and Monro is a good shop. Ill never go anywhere else.

Went to get my brakes inspected. I was informed of a bad oil leak and told that the 2 oil valve cover gaskets needed to be replaced. Had the one in the front replaced for the meantime. Just had the rear one replaced and the upper intake manifold gasket replaced at another shop and the leak has subsided substantially. It seems like the one in the front is having an issue still. Will take it back to the other shop and see what they tell me. Will update this review accordingly.

These guys took us on a Sunday and balanced our tires on short notice, they did it quickly and were very professional.

They helped me out when places were starting to close. I went to a pep boys to get my tires rotated they didnt do it correctly. My rim spacers were doubled in the front and none were in the back. A few knobs on my wheels were not tightened. If i drove for much longer they said my car couldve been in a acoodent. The guys helped me out and even drove my car before i did to make sure everything was okay. Im now going here for any car issues.

Id give a zero if I could. Went for AC service recently, they recharged the system and told me I had a small leak in the system. Then I was told that the tool they used to look for the leak was locked in managers toolbox and we can have you come back tomorrow, so problem 1 how do advertise AC service and not have the tools readily accessible for all the techs to use. So I go back and the manager is there and says they dont have the tool and it was ordered and I told him the other guy said it was in his toolbox he didnt go look and said no. So I go back each day for the next 5 days, no tool. Finally one day I come in manager says I take your number and call when it comes, never got a call.DONT ADVERTISE A SERVICE YOU CANT COMPLETE, INCOMPETENT DONT GO THERE.IF YOU NEED TO GO TO MONRO GO TO WOLCOTT ST AND SEE TOM THEY ARE GREAT THERE BUT THEY DONT OFFER AC SERVICE SO THATS ONLY WHY I WENT HEAR.TOM GETS 5 STARS HES HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY BEEN GOING THERE FOR 8 YEARS.
